Talking about fillings

What kind of filling do you like in cakes or related?

I prefer this filling that is like strawberry jam. There’s also this filling that is like cream cheese, which is ok.

When it comes to other types however, I don’t like this weird artificial-flavored strawberry flavor. It’s just disgusting.

I am a coffee lover so a mocha buttercream filling is my idea of heaven. I also love salted caramel so would work that in also!

Chocolate cream…
11/2 cups whipping cream
2/3 cups sugar
1/3 cups cocoa
1/2 tsp vanilla

Start slow till mixed then whip it good
That is the good shit

Or I stick a frozen ripe banana in the blender till it’s creamy… Banana cream

Raspberry jam is good
But I’d say anything made of fruit can be nice. Red fruit over yellow, though.

I love raspberry but it usually has castorium in it to bring out the flavor. It’s the extracts of a beavers anal gland

Sounds yummy! Don’t have many beavers in the UK!

Castorium’s not legal as a food additive in the EU. In the US, though … yeah. As for the UK, I have no idea

I’m gonna order in some Candy :candy::lollipop: lol

Somewhat depends on what dessert you’re talking, for me anyway. But I’ll try all sorts of things once.

I am a fan of swirling jam into my cake batter though. Pour the batter into the cake pan then carefully swirl in the jam with a butter knife. It creates a sort of marbled effect and add just a lovely hint of flavor to the cake. Of course, the thicker the swirl of jam, the stronger the flavor.

No doubt it will be permitted as another excellent Brexit benefit!
