Shaving is a bit of a lost art these days. I find shaving my groin easier than shaving my face, save for my scrotum, there’s just too many moving parts, so to speak.
Here’s what I recommend: Either go with Colt’s suggestion and get an electric tool designed for the job, or check out tutorials on a proper wet shave, using lather, a brush and a safety razor. I found really good ones back in the day. Don’t make substitutions, use an actual brush, lather up with shaving soap or cream, not foam from a can, and use a safety razor and razor blades like these:

Anyway, don’t go for your groin right away. Practice on your face first, apply hot/warm water first, apply lather, use short strokes with the razor and go with the grain of the hair (that is: in the direction the hair is growing). Always re-apply lather with the brush once you’ve done one pass.
You can also apply coconut oil before lathering up if your skin is very sensitive. I always do for both my face and groin.
But yeah. If you want to go this route, get confident about giving your face a proper wet shave, and once you do, try out what you’ve learned on your groin carefully.
I use to the second one, and although I can cut myself a little bit sometimes (just a little, not painful), I get smooth results.
I considered getting an electric one, buy my savings are long gone.
