Hi, any advice on how to best train my arse to allow for easier/wider penetration/toys?
I can usually take a normal dick no problem (although it might need some easing in and a slow start), but after that I pretty quickly top out.
I think butt plugs with a wider neck might be a good idea (any - more - recommendations? It seems glass provides the thickest neck? Some extra weight would be appreciated too).
Are there any dilators? Any other tips?
You can think of anal training like stretching for gymnastics or yoga: You slowly enhance the range in which your muscles can operate. What helped lovers of mine is to feel into the muscles and actively try to relax them, breathing exercises, too. Oh, and any kind of training for your pelvic floor muscles is a good idea, too, as they raise your awareness for that muscles group. That, in turn, makes it easier for your to relax them when it’s play time 
So, the most important thing is to go slow and be consistent. Many people enjoy plugging for extended periods, i.e. while cleaning their house / doing other chores. Stop when there’s pain and slowly increase the size of the plugs/dildos you insert.
A set of plugs going from small to larger might be a good idea, maybe someone could make a suggestion, I’ve mostly seen cheap trainer kits and never bought one.
Another thing you could try is using a cone-shaped toy and try to slowly take it deeper and deeper, over the course of days or weeks or even months.
And, the obvious disclaimer: Never use any numbing agents or poppers. You want to feel everything going on down there, and you’ll have the best of times if you can relax on your own.
Just do something anal regularly and consistently and as you become more experienced move up a size.
Just be careful not to push yourself too quickly.
What worked best for my wife was slowly helping her become more comfortable taking larger toys. She’s in a better position to explain why, but she learned to relax through the association of anal penetration and pleasure. Clit play can help during anal play as well.
Below is a link to an anal training kit we used early in our anal only life. These are best for play NOT wearing because wide neck plugs require a much wider base. My wife’s ass swallowed a small plug during play but she fortunately was able to squat and push it out. Safe yourself an embarrassing trip to the ER! Her ass relaxed enough for the jeweled base to swallow the base too.
These plugs are made of safe borosilicate glass and more resistant to easily breaking. Start small and work your way up. The largest is 1.5” in diameter. It took her a while to take that plug but she’s become relaxed enough to take a 2” diameter plug. These are safe, inexpensive, and effective.

Just a word of caution: Amazon warehouses are full of counterfeits. So it’s possible you do not get what you pay for in terms of material or brand.
Imagine it like this: Inside of the amazon warehouses, they have huge bins to store items. They are stored based on what the product is, not who sold it to amazon. So let’s say three different resellers offer the same item. All of them supplied their products to amazon, and they in turn put them all in the same bin. One of them delivered counterfeit stuff to amazon. So even if you buy from a reputed shop on amazon, that has no intention of ripping anyone off, the poor soul who works in the warehouse will still get any one item from the bin and ship it to you.
