Hello from Arizona, USA

Hi, newbie here in Phoenix, Arizona US. I’m a straight male anal enthusiast and also a maker of glass toys. Plugs were the first products I created and still make up the majority of my body of work. I’m a bit of a sexual deviant, perhaps that’s why I gravitated toward the sex toys in my glass career. I came across this group recently and thought it would be great to connect with other butt lovers and get some input to help me perfect my anal products… and to talk about ass in general :stuck_out_tongue:

Welcome, Ryan, welcome!
Wow, a toy maker! That sounds very interesting!
I’m sure you’ll fit right in and be able to contribute a lot to our discussions on (body) safe anal toys!

Hey, welcome to the group! Can you share a website link to your business? We’ve had discussions about various manufacturers of safe and quality glass toys. My wife’s sweet spot is 1.75” diameter. It’s hard to find glass in that diameter.

I’d love to see your creations. I’ve purchased from another glass specialist in California called Luscious Playthings.

There were members several days ago inquiring about quality glass for the ass. Welcome!

I’d say his timing is perfect based on the interest expressed by several members.

That’s me! Hence the “LP” in my name

The world is a village after all

I’ve recommended your company on several forums. You custom made a 2” plug with a shorter overall length for my wife. We call it her “squirt plug”. I originally found you on Etsy but I noticed you no longer show your full line on that site.

I know of several ladies on the forum who are asking about quality glass. You are now the resident ass glass expert on this forum.

Awesome, man! Thank you for the mentions  Etsy banned insertable adult toys on the platform as of July 29 so I had to scramble and get a website up asap. I should have had one years ago, I just got comfortable on Etsy. For 13 years I did well there, then poof gone

Etsy sells all kinds of kinky shit. I bought my wife a kinky leather harness and bra from a company in the Ukraine. Their loss. I’m a tech challenged boomer in his late 60’s but maybe you can promote your craftsmanship on other anal/sex related forums on Reddit and other sites like that. Your offerings are quite extensive and unique. I’ll be in touch soon to have you craft a 1.75” diameter dildo for my wife. Glad you joined the group.

There have been different theories on why Etsy did this, but I believe it was because of all the import riff raff they allowed on there and those sellers kept breaking the rules with prohibited thumbnails and language in their listing titles. Etsy got tired of it and doesn’t have the staff to keep removing these, so they just did a lazy blanket ban on ALL of it…including us indie makers who played by the book. Thankfully, I was able to keep my Etsy shop open selling just my protective bags and guide visitors to the new website. Strangely, I saw others still selling Yoni Eggs so I relisted mine without any sexual language in their description and they’ve gone under the radar.

It’s so cool to meet one of the people who actually craft all those wonderful toys! Sadly, ordering from you would mean that I pay the product twice … once for the item, and once for shipping

As for etsy, I find it interesting how many websites go through purges like this from time to time. Often, as it was the case with livejournal or tumblr, it’s because they are sold to a company (or country …) that doesn’t share the values of the original owners, and whoooooopsie all those lovely queer creators who made the platform what it is are quietly booted out the backdoor. A shame, really.

Thanks! If you’re outside the US, yea shipping and duties/taxes can be expensive. Even with that though, I still did a LOT of international sales on Etsy. And that’s the other infuriating thing about getting booted from there…setting up international shipping on your own website is expensive and quite complicated. Etsy was so easy to use because they handled all that for you. Now I’m limited to just selling domestically until the sales on the website pick up steam. However, I’ve been using an Etsy “hack” for international customers where I just create a custom listing for them and they purchase it from my Etsy shop instead of the website. It’s been working fine  And I agree with you about the conservative shareholders and board members of some of these companies.

So even if shipping to Germany might be too expensive, how about a link to your website (surely this can’t be against forum rules, with all the Amazon links we’ve seen recently?).

I’ve already been looking!

Having run a website in the past, I have the sneaking suspicion Ryan found us precisely because of a link to his website (or two) posted here

Hi. I wasn’t sure if I’m allowed to post links either. If you see something you like just let me know. I’m not able to sell/ship to Germany from the website just yet but I can create a custom Etsy listing for you and you can see what the shipping is and purchase from there.

Ha! I did see some visits from different sites and checked them out. I’ve been wanting to join other groups for a while though, I’m just a bit forum challenged lol.
