@iAmTheGunman especially as someone on the spectrum, don’t believe what people tell you about what it means to be a man. The mindset “boys are easier to raise” many mothers have is basically a self-fulfilling prophecy. Boys and men have as many and as complex emotions as girls and women, we are just generally taught to ignore them instead of feeling and acting on them. There’s a reason suicide rates among men are generally higher than they are in women.
Edit: Not sure why I wrote “generally”, the world-wide ratio of successful suicides in males and females is 1.7 to 1, and can be as high as 6.7 to 1 (in Poland and Latvia).
